Have you ever wondered how old is the coffee you are
drinking? Retail store coffee beans can be 6 months old or more, and that
includes major brands. Ordering from Tuluna Gourmet Coffees will guarantee
you will be drinking a gourmet coffee that has been roasted only a few days before it
arrives at your home. You will be receiving gourmet coffee that is single origin Arabica coffee
that will have extraordinary flavor and aroma.
For those of you who prefer to roast your own beans, Tuluna
Gourmet Coffees offers the Cafe San Marcos, a high quality
gourmet green coffee bean that
is ready for roasting. Green coffee beans are offered in five, ten and
twenty pound burlap bags. The selection includes gourmet coffee in green beans form Honduras,
Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and El Salvador. Please see our product

Why green beans? : Green Beans stay fresh much longer than
roasted beans, up to 6 months versus thirty days for roasted coffee beans. There
are two reasons why roasted beans do not hold their flavor. First, roasted beans
oxidize and second, the internal chemical processes from the roast
continue after cooling. Please see our product list.
Home roasting is easy. It only takes 5 to 15 minutes and
your reward is the freshest gourmet coffee around. It requires no fancy equipment and
San Marcos gourmet green coffee is half the price of roasted coffee from a retailer.
